Yurt hire

Whilst the centre is closed to all visitors you are welcome to hire a yurt during this time on a self-catering basis, should you be happy to entertain yourself. This includes exploring Coed's 180 acre grounds, woodland and nature reserve.

Get back to nature and experience the magic and tranquillity of yurt living that your family or group of friends will treasure forever. This is available in association with www.yurtevents.co.uk, who offer a selection of handmade yurts, many built here at Coed, furnished to a high standard, for a magical and comfortable experience in the great outdoors.

For info and availability please contact Kev, our resident yurt expert on 07866 944608 or kev@yurtevents.co.uk.

For events there is a collection of yurts ranging from 14-foot to a whopping 28-footer. It often works well financially if two families or a group of friends club together. For example a 16ft yurt sleeps between six to eight people comfortably.

Depending on your needs we can arrange further accommodation with affiliated organisations that include a massive and totally unique 60-foot yurt and a whole boutique yurt village.

Camping

Camping may be available. Please enquire before travelling. Fees are currently £5 per person per night. We will be improving the facilities later in the summer with features such as hot showers and prices will increase accordingly.

Once at the Visit The Vale Website accommodation website you can browse through a list of alternatives. Each residence will have a postcode (zipcode) that starts CF (e.g. CF71 7DP) and you can enter it in to maps.google.co.uk so that you can get an idea of it's proximity to Coed Hills. Zoom out a little if you cannot see St. Hilary, the village nearest to Coed.
